If you’re feeling festive after enjoying Thanksgiving with family and friends, make sure you check out the Grand Illumination at the James Center this Friday, November 30that 6 p.m. My family and I always enjoy attending this annual event, which serves as a wonderful reminder that the Christmas holiday is near. Downtown office buildings and trees and reindeer at the James Center will be lit at 5:59 p.m. The event is free, Lite 98 will be present, and, despite his busy schedule this time of year, even Santa will make an appearance. The event will feature music from Big Ray and the Kool Kats and other performances. Event attendees are welcome to walk through the James Center to check out some of the interior holiday decorations and experience a little reprieve from Jack Frost, as the low for Friday night is expected to be 30.
